As many, if not all, of you know, Edison Dean Hinckley joined our family on August 29th. He was born at 3:22 p.m. and was 5 lbs. 12 oz. and 18 1/4 in. long. He was about two weeks early, since his "official" due date wasn't until September 11th, but he decided that he didn't want to wait.
So far he has been quite a calm little guy who doesn't cry much. And Evelyn just adores him. She loves being able to help in any way that she can, although sometimes she tries to help a little too much.
I'll be sure to post another entry later giving labor details, for those who want to read them, but suffice it to say we are thrilled to have Edison in our family and are grateful for his safe arrival.

He is just so cute...I wish so bad that I could be there to hold him. Give him extra kisses and hugs for me, and I'll make up for it over Christmas. Love you guys! Kendy
What a beautiful baby! I can see both of you in him. :)
I've decided that I love Edison's dimple just as much as I do Evelyn's curly hair (alas, Kenny and I have such straight hair that I have given up my dream to have children with beautiful, curly hair, and we have nary a dimple between us to pass on to our deserving offspring...) I love the picture of you, David, and Edison. I'm jealous of Mom being able to see you and the baby TOMORROW. I can't wait to meet my new nephew this Christmas!
